Ubuntu offers two distinct release cycles tailored for different needs:
After selecting a version, you will see a table of downloadable files. Look for the file naming pattern: ubuntu-<version>-live-server-<architecture>.iso
Open your web browser and go to https://ubuntu.com/download/server . You will see a page titled "Ubuntu Server" with a prominent green button labeled "Download Ubuntu Server". By default, this button corresponds to the latest LTS version (currently 24.04.2 LTS).
Upon visiting the download page, users are presented with two primary release streams. Selecting the correct one depends on the use case.
Simply open the torrent file with a client like Transmission, qBittorrent, or Deluge.
