The game begins with Kirby being transported to a mysterious, abandoned world. He soon discovers that many of the inhabitants, known as Waddle Dees, are being kidnapped by a group known as the "Fanged Beasties." Kirby sets out to rescue the Waddle Dees and uncover the secrets of this forgotten land.
