Stakis Technik 2019 💯 Extended

Despite its innovations, the 2019 release faced criticism regarding its analog input filtering. At sampling rates above 100 Hz, the onboard 12-bit ADC (Analog-to-Digital Converter) exhibited a harmonic distortion of -68 dB, making it unsuitable for high-precision vibration monitoring. Stakis released a firmware patch (v1.2.4) in November 2019 that reduced the distortion to -82 dB but capped the sampling rate at 50 Hz.

Unlike its predecessor (Technik 2016), the 2019 iteration abandoned the proprietary "StaK-Bus" in favor of an open OPC UA (Unified Architecture) backbone. The hardware was built around an ARM Cortex-A53 quad-core processor, a significant departure from the PowerPC chips used previously. Key specifications included: stakis technik 2019
