It is almost impossible to talk about the fighting game genre without bowing to the original Street Fighter . Playing "SSS I" (referring here to the original Street Fighter era) today is less about finding a competitive masterpiece and more about visiting a museum. It is an archaeological dig into the soil that grew the fighting game community, but you have to be willing to get your hands dirty.
