If there is a criticism to be leveled at Miiya’s writing, it is one that plagues the later half of Wonder Egg Priority as a whole. The pacing and the "science fiction" elements introduced later in the series can make her existence feel a bit convoluted. Her arc resolves somewhat abruptly, and viewers might feel that a character with this much potential deserved a more fleshed-out backstory beyond the thematic symbolism she represents.
