He brings a certain maturity to the character of a rookie cop relying on research and script-writing logic to solve crimes. Rakul Preet Singh is adequate in a role that doesn't demand much beyond the standard romantic interest and occasional plot exposition. However, the real scene-stealer is Joshua Leclerc as the antagonist.
