You must right-click your "Year" filter and select "Add to Context" . Context filters compute before FIXED LODs. Now your FIXED calculation will respect the Year filter. Now your FIXED calculation will respect the Year filter
Sometimes you will add a FIXED LOD to a view and get a red exclamation mark saying the fields cannot be compared. This happens when you try to mix granularities that don't align.
