The final confrontation happens during a thunderstorm. Vikram, realizing Tara is actually Meera, tries to kill her and Raghav. But Raghav, who had been secretly regaining leg movement with Tara’s help, stands up from his wheelchair and fights Vikram. Together, Raghav and Tara overpower him. The police arrive (alerted by Maya, who was in on the plan all along).

Vikram is arrested. Raghav and Meera (Tara) reunite as lovers. The mansion, once a prison of fear and secrets, becomes their home again.
