In Cold War Assault , the game engine interprets the speed of your mouse. If you move the mouse slowly, the game thinks, "Oh, he wants to look around gently," and turns the camera a small amount. If you move the mouse quickly, the engine hits a ceiling. It can’t process the data fast enough, or it applies a curve that dampens the input.
