If you’ve recently breathed new life into an old PC or Mac by installing , you are probably marveling at how fast and clean your "new" computer feels. It turns aging hardware into a speedy, secure Chromebook.
On Chrome OS Flex, that icon is missing. You cannot install apps from the Play Store, nor can you run Android APKs natively. While Chrome OS Flex looks and feels almost identical to standard Chrome OS, it lacks the underlying architecture required to run the Android subsystem.
