The episode opens with Michael Scofield undergoing an elaborate, full-body tattoo procedure. Shortly after, Michael holds up a bank at gunpoint, but his behavior is strange; he doesn't care about the money and surrender peacefully when the police arrive. In court, he refuses to fight the charges and specifically requests to be sent to Fox River, the very prison where his brother Lincoln is held.
