In eMule: KAD tab → Bootstrap → From URL → enter: https://www.emule-security.org/nodes.dat emule kad server list
KAD does use server lists. It bootstraps by connecting to a few known “seed” nodes. Once configured, observe the status on the tab:
Download nodes.dat from a trusted source and place it in eMule’s config folder. emule kad server list
To understand the configuration, one must distinguish between the two networks:
If KAD says , forward TCP port (default 4662) and UDP port (4672) in your router/software firewall.
